Are you curious to see what’s beyond the earth’s atmosphere? If so, then you must visit Griffith Park in Los Angeles. The park is known for its observatory where you get to know and understand nature. It also allows you to take a hike to the top of the famous Hollywood Sign. Griffith park is 4,300 acres and is one of the largest parks in the United States. It is five times the size of New York’s Central Park. There are plenty of things you can do in the park the most common one is sightseeing. At any given time of the day, you will enjoy the fantastic view. Should you wish to stroll on various trails, you can do so early in the morning or late in the afternoon, especially if you are not so fond of Mr. Sunshine.
If it is your first time visiting Griffith Park, you can get directions to the starting points of various hiking trails at the Griffith Park Ranger Station. You can find it near the entrance. For a unique sight, go west off the main trail near the Bronson Cave, popularly known as the “bat cave” in the 60s Batman TV series. You can also visit the Old LA Zoo. It is where the LA zoo used to be, but eventually moved and changed location. It is still in the same park though. What you will see in the Old LA Zoo was abandoned animal enclosures. It is one of the favorite spots of budding photographers.
