Endless V

The Endless V monument: a timeless symbol of love in Beverly Hills, CA

Public Art “Endless V” is a Cultural landmark located in Beverly Gardens Park, N Beverly Dr, Beverly Hills, CA 90210, United States. Massive sculptures made of steel, glass, marble, polyester resin, concrete, and bronze which is over seven feet tall, created by Jaume Plensa. His most famous work is the Crown Fountain, a pair of 50-foot glass towers in Chicago’s Millennium Park that broadcast enormous video pictures of Chicagoans who sometimes pucker their lips and spew water into the pool. Plensa is a figurative sculptor who mostly creates larger-than-life heads made of fine stainless steel wire mesh such that the locations in which they are placed are visible through the pieces as well as bronze figures that were cast from his own body.

In spite of their startling individuality, the stainless steel letter sculptures in this collection share a lot in common with classical sculpture in terms of their conceptual emphasis on aesthetic beauty and the sincere expression of the human spirit. ENDLESS V, is a stunning example of Plensa’s talent for fusing symbols into an intriguing alphabetical chainmail that explores ideas of collective memory and the tension between individuality and community. A seated guy with his arms around his body is depicted in the present work, suggesting Auguste Rodin’s famous The Thinker from circa 1910.

The Endless V monument is a beautiful symbol of everlasting love, located just outside of Beverly Hills, CA. If you are looking for a place to express your love for your significant other, the Endless V monument is the perfect spot.
