Pacific Coast Highway

One of the thrilling things to do in Los Angeles is road-tripping on the Pacific Coast Highway. It gives you a relaxing experience driving down the road, especially driving on a foggy morning and you’ll see the relaxing view of the coastline. As you drive, you will have a view of some of the most iconic beaches in Southern California. The first stop is the Santa Monica Pier. Since its opening in 1909, it has quickly become a popular beach destination for residents in Los Angeles. Santa Monica Pier is referred to as the final landmark of route 66.

The next stop is Venice beach, which is famous for its outdoor scenery. It is described as Santa Monica’s older punk rock brother. Aside from driving down Pacific Coast Highway, there are other activities you can try such as renting a bike for the day. It is fun to stroll the area on your bike. You’ll be able to enjoy the view and at the same time burn some calories. Ride on the boardwalk and stop to see street performers. You will also have sight of world-class weightlifters as they work out in the outdoor space of muscle beach. Of course, there are surfers too. it’s so relaxing seeing them catch waves. Along the Venice beach boardwalk are small cafes that serve oysters and other seafood delicacies.
