Hymn of Life: Tulips

The Hymn of Life: A Symbol of Hope and Life

A group of sculptures called Hymn of Life: Tulips measures. Located in Beverly Gardens Park, N Santa Monica Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90210, United States. It is 10 feet by 20 in feet and is made of painted fiberglass, ceramic tile, and steel. This work, which was created by the avant-garde sculptor, painter, and writer Yayoi Kusama, enthralls visitors from all over the world.

The sculpture was dedicated on September 19, 2007, and it was the City of Beverly Hills Fine Art Commission’s first ever commission. The first outdoor sculpture by this well-known international artist to be displayed in public in the United States is Hymn of Life: Tulips. At age 10, Japanese artist Kusama, who was born in Nagano Prefecture in 1929, began to use dots and nets as themes in her paintings. Paintings, sculptures, and mixed-media installations are all part of her body of work. Outside sculptures by Kusama can be located in France, Spain, and Japan. Kusama’s quirky and intricate aesthetic is seen in Hymn of Life: Tulips, which has three enormous tulips reaching ten feet high by twenty feet in circumference.

Water lilies and other seasonal flora will surround the plastic, over-sized flower display. The vibrant blooms are a reflection of the Conservatory’s breathtaking horticultural displays.
